Big Things in Small Packages
I love both of your magazines. When my friends growing up wanted Camaros, I wanted The Mysterion. I thought you would enjoy some pictures of my custom 1/18 scale diecast cars. Keep up the good work. I look forward to every issue and still have almost every issue you’ve published. My ride is a ‘65 Chevy van with an inline-6 with 3-two bbl carbs, mild cam and some Hooker equal length headers with glass packs.

Hemi-ed A
I thought that I’d email you some pics of my Hemi powered A project. This is my first venture into old school rodding. I’ve always done muscle cars and this has to be the most fun I’ve had yet. It’s going on over two years right now, but I’m almost ready to disassemble and paint it. It’s all Mopar: ‘56 Hemi, ‘75 Chrysler trans, ‘36 Chrysler wheels, ‘38 Chrysler window cranks, etc. I’ve been a GM Service Manager for over 30 years and I take some grief!

Slammed Merc
This is my ‘49 Merc and I drive it daily. I’d just gotten off work and was hit by a POS Saturn running at 60 on a wet road. Luckily, they had insurance. Now I’m in the rebuilding process.

Hanging C10
I just wanted to say that I love your magazine and pretty much have every issue. I’ve been into the rockabilly and rat rod scene for about seven years now. I have to tell you that after seeing your magazine for the first time, it got me even more into it. You guys are doing a hell of a job and keep up the good work at keeping the scene alive. I’ve enclosed a few pictures of my ‘64 Chevy C-10 mild custom step-side. I’m not officially done with it, but hell we all know that they’re never finished. There’s always something to do or change on it.

Fabulous and Frugal
Great magazine, guys. It’s the only one I buy. Here are some pictures that I think you’ll like. I bought the ‘35 back in 2002 for $700. The car was all there and I got it back on the road in 2004. We put in a Nova clip and a Ford 8” rear end. The 327 engine came out of my ‘66 Nova. I bought the manifold for it at Back to the 50’s last year and topped it with six Holley 94s. I have less than five grand into it and it’s a blast to drive. My daily driver is a ‘56 Ford truck with a 350/350 combo that I bought when I was 18 years old

Nice
I’ve been working on this ‘53 Ford Sunliner off and on for 18 years. It has a ‘57 Packard tail end and lights with a cut down ‘53 Pontiac bumper. The grille is from a ‘54 Chevy with 11 teeth. The lake pipes are 90” long. The motor is a ‘53 Merc 255” with the stock 3on-the-tree. Caps are ‘57 Lancers. I dropped it 4” in back with blocks and cut a couple rings out of the front coils. The ‘54 Ford headlights are frenched and it’s also been nosed, decked and shaved. It’s all ready for ‘57 Chevy turquoise paint and pink flames.

Nice, but Confused
I subscribe to your magazine, Rod & Custom. I’m sending you some photos of my ‘33 Hudson Essex coupe. I’m hoping that it will spark enough interest to be put in your magazine. Drop me a line and let me know what you think.
