ICK – Gearhead Artist Supremo

   Pay attention, all you internal combustion lovin’ freaks! I wanna tell you about a crazy Canuk and cool artist named Richard “Ickabod McDriveSoFastThePaintIzPeeling” McIvor, better known as plain ol’ Ick.
   He sucks at impersonations, introductions, remembering names and math. He’d rather be drag racing or hanging out with his sweetie and he hates minivans and SUVs. He is an eclectic bag of lowbrow gearhead tricks. “Speed Djinni” is his fave creation to date and he calls it “The Mandala for Drag Racers.”
   The important thing to know above all is that Ick is one talented, arty sumbitch. Do not silence or censor him and the world will be better for it. The outspoken Canadian is “extremely enthusiastic” about art, especially lowbrow art and erotica, but not just his own. He’s not very political (“I always root for the underdog”) and doesn’t condone violence, unless you piss him off at the pub! Freedom of artistic expression is important to him.
   He is passionate about the “voice” he gives to his work and wants you to know that “when artwork is censored, it affects political, social, and personal aspects of humanity in general from an artistic point of view.”
